There is currently little information about the vitamin requirements in honey bees. Three trials were carried out at Honey Bee Department of Animal Science Research Institute of Iran.The experiments were carried out under natural condition to assess potential impacts of thiamine nutrition on the development of hypopharyngeal glands (HPGs) in honey bee workers (Apis mellifera meda) during different seasons. In this study, twenty honey bee colonies were divided into 5 experimental groups with 4 replications. Control groups (group 1) were fed sugar syrup (1:1). The experimental colonies in groups 2 and 5 were fed in the same manner but with syrup were supplemented with different levels of thiamine (100, 200, 300 and 400 ppm). The experiments were repeated for 45 days through the summer (Jul. 5, 2012 and Aug. 20, 2012), winter (Feb. 20, 2013 and Apr. 5, 2013) and spring (Apr. 27, 2013 and Jun. 13, 2013) seasons. To investigate the development of HPGs, length and width of ten acini for five worker bees in each replication with 3, 6, 9, 12 and 15 days were measured using a stereomicroscope and micrometer. The results showed that thiamine in diet affected the size of acinal area in HPGs. In summer, acini size was greater in honey bees (3 and 6 days) fed low level thiamine but in winter (9, 12 and 15 days) and spring (all ages) inverse effects were observed (P<0.05). Hypopharyngeal glands development was high in different seasons at the age of 6 or 9 days.}, keywords = {Thiamine,honey bee,Apis mellifera meda,Hypopharyngeal glands,Season}, title_fa = {بررسی رشد و نمو غدد هیپوفارنژیال در زنبورهای کارگر ایرانی (Apis mellifera meda) تغذیه شده با سطوح مختلف تیامین}, abstract_fa = {زنبور عسل به طیف وسیعی از مواد مغذی، به منظور تأمین نیازهای تغذیهای خود جهت رشد و نمو، نیاز دارد. نیازهای ویتامینیزنبور عسل به خوبی شناخته نشده است. به همین منظور برای بررسی اثر تغذیهای تیامین (ویتامین1B) بر رشد و نمو غدد هیپوفارنژیال زنبوران کارگر نژاد ایرانی(Apis mellifera meda)  در فصول مختلف سال، آزمایشی سه مرحلهای تحت شرایط طبیعی در مؤسسه تحقیقات علوم دامی کشور انجام شد. در این آزمایش 20 کلنی زنبور عسل در پنج گروه تغذیهای با چهار تکرار مورد استفاده قرار گرفتند. کلنیهای گروه کنترل با شربت شکر 1:1 و کلنیهای آزمایشی به روش مشابه ولی با این تفاوت که شربت شکر با سطوح مختلف تیامین (100، 200، 300 و 400 پیپیام) مکملسازی شده بود، تغذیه شدند. عملیات صحرایی در سه فصل (تابستان، زمستان و بهار)، به مدت 45 روز (30 روز تغذیه با شربت و 15 روز نمونهبرداری بعد از تغذیه) در هر فصل انجام گرفت. برای بررسی رشد و نمو غدد هیپوفارنژیال، طول و عرض ده آسینی برای هر زنبور کارگر در سنین 3، 6، 9، 12 و 15 روزگی با استفاده از استریومیکروسکوپ و میکرومتر بر روی پنج زنبور کارگر در هر کلنی اندازهگیری شد. نتایج آزمایش نشان دادند که سطح آسینی غدد هیپوفارنژیال زنبورهای کارگر در کلنیهای تغذیه شده با سطوح مختلف تیامین در فصول مختلف سال دارای اختلافات معنیداری بود. در فصل تابستان سطح آسینی در زنبورهای(3 و 6 روزگی) تغذیه شده با سطوح پایین تیامین (100 و 200 پیپیام) بیشتر بود ولی در فصل زمستان (9، 12 و 15 روزگی) و بهار (تمام سنین) زنبورهای تغذیه شده با سطوح بالای تیامین (300 و 400 پیپیام) سطح آسینی بیشتری داشتند (05/0P<). در فصول مختلف سال اوج رشد غدد هیپوفارنژیال در سن 6 یا 9 روزگی بیشتر اتفاق افتاده بود (05/0P<).}, keywords_fa = {تیامین,زنبورعسل,Apis mellifera meda,غدد هیپوفارنژیال,فصل}, url = {https://asj.areeo.ac.ir/article_106533.html}, eprint = {https://asj.areeo.ac.ir/article_106533_7388b7df80bf859cde8056aadd60f479.pdf} }
